ACCOUNTANT

Trish has always had a deep connection to the natural environment, feeling happiest amongst nature.

Growing up in outback Queensland, she experienced first hand the devastation caused by drought and floods to land suffering from desertification. When Trish fell in love with, and relocated to, the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, she became actively involved with the local community and especially local Landcare, serving on the Executive Committee and spending many volunteer hours planting trees, seed collecting and propagating.

With her partner, she she now lives in the Bundaberg Hinterland and they’re working, along with a crew of 14 chooks, to regenerate a 3-acre ex-sugar cane block of dirt into living soil. They signed up for the Bundaberg Council’s One Million Trees Program and have so far planted over 60 native species.

Trish feels very fortunate to combine her strong accounting background within the NFP sector, with her passion for being involved in meaningful, impactful and exciting environmental projects.

Trish’s role at Mulloon is to support the team by managing the day to day accounting and payroll transactions, and to ensure accurate quantitative information on Project outcomes while ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
