You’re invited to join regenerative farmer Martin Royds for a tour of his Jillamatong property near Braidwood this winter.
Martin Royds has successfully created a productive and regenerating agricultural landscape at Jillamatong over many years of managing it, and is keen to show you how the plants and animals now work together to build a profitable and diverse ecosystem.
The tour will cover:
background information and map viewing
how to read the landscape
how effective compost is on farm productivity
how grazing management affects biodiversity
how insects, reptiles and birds are influencing the farm
how repairing the ‘chain of ponds’ is rehydrating the flood plain
tree plantings, weed management, restoring soil life, and more!
Saturday 29 June 2019, in the afternoon
$35 per person
